The faithful portrayal of the beloved maid will capture the hearts of fans. Re:Zero was the breakout anime of 2016, as its brutally dark story about protagonist Natsuki Subaru having to relive death over and over connected with viewers. A cosplay artist shared her take of one of the show\u2019s most popular characters Rem, and it\u2019s so true to the animation that it\u2019s almost as if the heroine walked from out the screen and into real life. Cosplayer transforms into Re:Zero\u2019s Rem The story begins with Subaru being sucked into a fantasy world, and having to survive in a new land. He ends up working as a butler for the Roswaal mansion, where he meets the twin maids Rem and Ram. Cosplayer \u2018anongnoon\u2019 became the adorable servant, and posted pictures of her insanely accurate costume on social media. She nailed Rem\u2019s iconic blue locks and eyes, capturing her signature look. The photo went viral on Instagram with over 7,000 likes at the time of writing. She looks so much like the character, it has us seeing double. Her photoset could pass for screenshots from a live action film. https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/B9TVFSChoig\/ As if that wasn\u2019t impressive enough, Anong shared more photos of her costume \u2013 this time recreating scenes from the anime. Posing in front of a town backdrop, the cosplayer portrays the servant carrying a basket of flowers in Lugnica. Her Rem outfit is full of details, such as the intricately designed black and white maid outfit. From her headband, to the pink ribbon that is tied to the left side of her hair, this is one of the best outfits we\u2019ve seen of the Re:Zero character. https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/B9VyqoyhtoS\/ In another close-up shot, the skilled artist captures the character\u2019s personality by leaning against a bench, and striking her signature hand pose. She makes it look as if Rem has been sucked into our world. https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/B9Qz-TABaVl\/ Re:Zero fans desperately waiting for season two have to wait just a little bit longer. The new episodes have been delayed due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis. The studio announced the new release date will be sometime in July 2020.
