Witcher’s Ciri cosplay is Cintra’s ultimate face-off armoredheartcosplay (Instagram)/CD Projekt RedPlenty of cosplayers are bringing characters from The Witcher to life after the hit Netflix series’ release, so toss a coin to your Ciri, o’ cosplay battle of plenty. Following the Witcher’s resurgence off the back of the hit Netflix series, cosplayers are flocking to bring the game’s depiction of characters from Cintra into our realm. Geralt’s adopted daughter, Ciri, has a narrative which runs parallel to Geralt’s in that she is destined for greatness — a reason why plenty can relate to her character arc, both in the game and the Netflix portrayal. Given her popularity with fans of the series and CD Projekt Red’s hit game, cosplayers everywhere have come up with some fantastic creations of Geralt’s “child of surprise.” We’ve rounded up the best Ciri efforts, which could have been plucked straight from Cintra, itself. The question is, who gets your coin? Bliss Cosplay (bliss.cosplay) Bliss is our first entry in Cintra’s cosplay battle. Complete with the trademark scar and silver hair, this effort certainly pays attention to detail to the game’s interpretation of her appearance. The look is complemented by a holstered sword and green eyes, which would leave many fans wondering whether she was plucked straight from Projekt Red’s design. https://www.instagram.com/p/B7jAeRLoRrv/ Captain Kaycee Cosplay (captainkayceecosplay) In a similar vein to Bliss, Captain Kaycee is sporting Ciri’s iconic silver hair and wounded face, to really pay homage to authenticity. Sword in-hand, Kaycee gives fans a full shot with this cosplay, which reveals attention to detail in every aspect of her outfit — heck, she looks like she’s ready to take on a Striga. https://www.instagram.com/p/B7eIVQDJDUw/ Armored Heart Cosplay (armoredheartcosplay) Glancing into the distance, Armored Heart has hit the nail on the head with her take on Ciri. The cosplayer’s effort ticks all of the right boxes, though, as her entire outfit is complete with a battle-worn sword as though she’d just taken out a Kikimora. https://www.instagram.com/p/B61HQA5jYgp/ In fact, Armored Heart did just that (minus the sword)… Perhaps this could be enough to lock-in Witcher fans’ votes. https://www.instagram.com/p/B6TqRauD2up/ With each entry earning a place in the list by their own merit, choosing between the lineup is a near-impossible task. Perhaps Bliss’ attention to detail with the green eyes sways it, or maybe Armored Heart’s reenactment of her slaying a Kikimora makes her effort a fan-favorite.
