WoW cosplayer breathes new life into Alexstrasza with stunning look Blizzard Entertainment, Claire ObscureWorld of Warcraft\u2019s stunning dragon titan, Alexstrasza, watches over all life on Azeroth, but this WoW cosplayer has summoned her to protect our world too. While the likes of the devilish Sylvanas and paragon of righteousness, Jaina Proudmoore, often take center stage during your World of Warcraft journey, there wouldn\u2019t be life in Azeroth if not for Alexstrasza, the Life-Binder. Making her debut in Wrath of the Lich King, the Dragon Queen has even managed to wyrm (get it?) her way into Blizzard\u2019s MOBA, Heroes of the Storm, where her healing abilities and shapeshifting prowess make her a force to be reckoned with. Channeling mother nature is French cosplayer Claire Obscure, whose Alexstrasza cosplay is so spectacular it looks as though she\u2019s walked straight out of WoW and into the real world. WoW Alexstrasza cosplay sets Azeroth ablaze For Claire, choosing the Life-Binder was relatively easy. \u201cUntil now I mainly did cosplays from the Blizzard universe!\u201d she told Dexerto. \u201cI started with three Overwatch characters (D.Va, Widowmaker, and Ashe) and then switched to WoW. Apart from the fact that I like the game, I find that the characters from WoW and Blizzard in general really have an incredible design. Whether it\u2019s armour or fabric costumes, there\u2019s really a lot of details and that\u2019s what I like about cosplay.\u201d Additionally, she confesses that \u201cin real, I\u2019m a big fan of dragons, and of course I\u2019ve always loved Alexstrasza! She\u2019s the Life-Binder, aspect of the red dragonflight, and she is the guardian of all life in the world of Azeroth. I like this whole story! Mama dragon! (And I loved having horns on my head!)\u201d Noting that \u201cIt was my biggest cosplay, and my first armour cosplay,\u201d Claire\u2019s love for Alexstrasza truly shines through. Every delicate motion embodies the character\u2019s beauty, but there\u2019s a ferocity that represents that inner dragon. View this post on Instagram As you can imagine, however, this wasn\u2019t the easiest cosplay to build \u2013 especially as world restrictions were put in place. \u201cI think I started it at the end of 2019 to tell you\u2026 I was very demotivated to see that it was not progressing or very little, and I was taking a hell of a long break! And global restrictions didn\u2019t help.
