Coldzera is one of the most successful Brazilian CS:GO players in the world, having won a Major and multiple premier tournaments during his time with the MiBR core. On August 13, he took part in a lengthy interview where he shared details of his career, including sharing his thoughts and experiences with other professional players. Following his interview, multiple players hit out at the Brazilian due to his comments. One of the first players to be aggravated by Marcelo’s comments was his ex-teammate Gustavo ‘SHOOWTiME’ Gonçalves, who quickly responded in a series of tweets. The Brazilian denied Coldzera’s claims that he preferred to play other games over CS:GO and that he never accepted help and coaching. He also said that the ex-MiBR star should “be ashamed and stop talking shit” and that he was left “forever negatively marked” following his time with the squad. — Gustavo Gonçalves (@gushoowtime) August 13, 2019 Other players started chiming in with their responses soon after. Jake “Stewie2k” Yip commented on the Brazilians interview where he claimed that Stewie was the one who convinced him to stay in MiBR. “That’s not even the whole story, what Cold said what stupid as shit. I don’t even know why he’s saying these things, he’s just hurting himself” said the American. Astralis’ Nicolai ‘dev1ce’ Reedtz also chimed in. “I remember no tears, but I remember not wanting to talk to you. Thanks for reminding me why” said the Dane. This was in response to Coldzera’s statement that “device’s ego skyrocketed and he became a snob” and that the Brazilian confronted him about it, which resulted in the Danish player “crying and apologizing”. I remember no tears, but I remember not wanting to talk to you. Thanks for reminding me why. — Nicolai Reedtz (@dev1ce) August 14, 2019 Coldzera also spoke about Gabriel ‘FalleN’ Toledo, João ‘felps’ Vasconcellos, Lincoln ‘fnx’ Lau, and his time at MiBR, however, they are yet to respond to his statements.

CS:GO: Dev1ce and Stewie2k slam Coldzera over controversial interview ESL / MiBR / DreamHackCounter-Strike: Global Offensive pro Marcelo ‘coldzera’ David recently took part in a lengthy interview where he shared details of his career, but some fellow players were not impressed with a selection of his answers.
