CS:GO: NiKo addresses FaZe Clan roster speculation after IEM Katowice exit Epicenter \/ FaZe ClanFaZe Clan\u2019s Nikola \u2018NiKo\u2019 Kova\u010d has clarified rumored roster moves for his team after defeat in the quarter-finals of IEM Katowice Major, at the hands of Natus Vincere NiKo has been in the conversation for the best CS:GO player in the world in recent years, and to many, it came as a shock when FaZe had a shaky run through the Legends stage of the major and were then defeated by Na\u2019Vi in the quarter-finals. In an interview with HLTV, NiKo explained his mindset going into the event and what the future holds for the FaZe Clan roster. The Bosnian professional was also surprised at how the major played out for them \u201cWe got really surprised by the way we played at this event, we expected us to play way, way better. Going into this major, we really thought that we could win this whole thing.\u201d Some fans have been wondering if a roster change is on the cards for the all-star lineup as they haven\u2019t had the usual success since benching their in-game leader Karrigan in December. NiKo has clarified that their new coach, Janko \u2018YNk\u2019 Paunovi\u010d will be \u201c100% staying for now\u201d after his trial period with the roster. He also confirmed that although he does not know what the future holds for FaZe Clan\u2019s roster, their stand-in player, Dauren \u2018AdreN\u2019 Kystaubayev will be remaining on the roster \u201cfor now, for upcoming events.\u201d Despite this performance, however, NiKo has remained confident in his team and took away a lot of positives from the major. \u201cThis was a really good experience for me, I think I changed a lot.\u201d He now looks to improve with his team before competing once again at before Blast Pro Series S\u00e3o Paulo on March 22.
