Envy has been one of the most well-known esports orgs in the CSGO scene since 2015, but with the wild year esports has gone through, some insiders are claiming that it\u2019s no longer financially profitable to operate a professional Counter-Strike team. One of those was Envy owner Mike \u2018hastr0\u2019 Rufail, who likened running a CS team to \u201clighting money on fire\u201d in the current moment. Actually, operating almost any CS team is lighting money on fire right now. There are no underlying assets that support the spend where top player salaries are. This means that players Thomas \u2018Thomas\u2019 Utting, Nikola \u2018LEGIJA\u2019 Ninic, Michal \u2018MICHU\u2019 Muller, Bugra \u2018Calyx\u2019 Arkin, Noah \u2018Nifty\u2019 Francis, and coach Jakub \u2018kuben\u2019 Gurczynski will all have to find new teams going forward.
