The MiBR roster has had a turbulent start since its transfer from SK Gaming, recruiting former Cloud9 player Tarik “tarik” Celic in place of Ricardo “boltz” Prass after only one event. YNk, best known for his stellar analysis work at various major tournaments, will take over head coach duties on August 13, when the team will begin bootcamping in Madrid. Janko “YNk” Paunovic has worn many hats across his career, starting as a Counter-Strike player in 1.6 and Global Offensive. He transitioned to an observer role with ESL in 2015, and later became one of the most popular analysts on the current tournament circuit. Janko joins MIBR effective today and will be with the team starting on August 13, when they begin bootcamping in Madrid for the upcoming tournament season. I’m incredibly excited to be a part of MIBR as their new coach! I have a lot of respect for the organisation and the way they do things. The opportunity to work with some of the best players this game has ever seen is something I couldn’t pass on. I’m looking forward to this new challenge and to getting this team back to where it belongs, the #1 spot in the world! #SomosMIBR It is a busy period coming up for MiBR, with the ZOTAC Cup Masters, a $300,000 tournament in Hong Kong on August 24-26, before heading straight to Sweden for DreamHack Masters Stockholm on August 29. And of course, the FACEIT London Major in September is on the horizon, and with MiBR’s recent form, YNk has his work cut out if he is to turn this undeniably talented roster in to a squad capable of taking home the biggest prizes.
