However, addressing the new overhaul as an \u2018update\u2019 would be an understatement as the changes are massive. When changes of such magnitude are deployed, at times it becomes impossible to revert back to earlier versions of a game. That is not the case with Cyberpunk 2077 2.0! By following a few steps, you can switch between the current and previous builds of the game at will, but it\u2019s only limited to PCs. Contents How to revert to an earlier version of Cyberpunk 2077 Steam To return to an earlier version of Cyberpunk 2077 on Steam, simply follow the steps below: Head over to your Steam Library. &#8211; Select Cyberpunk 2077, right-click on it, and select Properties. &#8211; Head over to the \u2018Betas\u2019 option. &#8211; Under Betas, click on the \u2018None\u2019 dropdown list and select \u201c1_63_legacy_patch\u201d. &#8211; That\u2019s it \u2013 now your game will start updating automatically. &#8211; If you want to switch back to 2.0, all you need to do is select \u2018None\u2019 from the same dropdown list. GOG If you own a copy of Cyberpunk 2077 on GOG, the steps are similar and we\u2019ve listed them below: Open GOG Galaxy and head over to the \u201cInstalled\u201d section. &#8211; Click on Cyberpunk 2077 and then select \u2018Manage Installation\u2019. &#8211; From there, click on \u2018Configure\u2019. &#8211; Change the Beta Channels to \u201c1_63_legacy_patch\u201d. &#8211; Then, disable the auto-updates option. &#8211; Once you\u2019ve done that, choose your preferred version. and click on \u2018OK\u2019. &#8211; If you want to switch back to the current version, simply select \u201cDisabled\u201d in the Beta Channels menu.
