Cyberpunk 2077 has now come under the microscope. After its wildly hyped launch, most players were happy with their experience on next-gen consoles and PC \u2014 but last-gen players on the PS4 and Xbox One were left hanging. Between horrendous glitches, buggy textures, and other performance mishaps, the game wasn\u2019t worth its price tag. After Sony recognized this and pulled the game from its store on December 17, Microsoft are giving players a chance to refund the title. Cyberpunk 2077: To ensure that every player can get the experience they expect on Xbox, we will be expanding our existing refund policy to offer full refunds to anyone who purchased Cyberpunk 2077 digitally from the Microsoft Store, until further notice. https:\/\/t.co\/04TcniwVzy \u2014 Xbox Support (@XboxSupport) December 18, 2020 \u201cTo ensure that every player can get the experience they expect on Xbox, we will be expanding our existing refund policy to offer full refunds to anyone who purchased Cyberpunk 2077 digitally from the Microsoft Store, until further notice,\u201d they said in a December 18 statement. \u201cWhile we know the developers at CD PROJEKT RED have worked hard to ship Cyberpunk 2077 in extremely challenging circumstances, we also realize that some players have been unhappy with the current experience on older consoles.\u201d However, they\u2019ve also gone a step further. Although they haven\u2019t pulled Cyberpunk like Sony, Microsoft is warning players about the game\u2019s poor performance on the Xbox One before they buy the title. Microsoft have added a warning to the #Cyberpunk2077 listing on their store saying &#8220;&#8221;users may experience performance issues\u2026on Xbox One&#8221;&#8221; \ud83d\udc40 pic.twitter.com\/cBrJWPoubz \u2014 Dexerto (@Dexerto) December 19, 2020 \u201cUsers may experience performance issues when playing this game on Xbox One consoles until this game is updated,\u201d their store listing states. It comes after the developers, CD PROJEKT RED, said they were \u201cworking hard to bring Cyberpunk 2077 back to the PlayStation Store as soon as possible\u201d after the game\u2019s delisting.
