Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has had a bit of a rocky start. The anti-hero live service title saw issues that plagued the game\u2019s paid early access, with much of the internet having mixed feelings about the entire title. The game itself was already criticized for having a similar UI to Bungie\u2019s Destiny 2, with the latter being one of the most prolific games as a service looter shooter available. Despite its popularity, Destiny 2 is still critiqued by fans, whether that be due to bad seasonal content or story plots feeling generic. The launch of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has resulted in a newfound appreciation for the Destiny 2 developers, as players have begun to compare the two. Destiny 2 players compliment Bungie after launch of Suicide Squad Many Destiny 2 players have come together to share their appreciation for the developers who have kept the franchise alive for the past 10 years. \u201cEvery so often there is another juggernaut studio trying to get a slice of the Destiny-live-service cake and every time I think \u2018this will prove that Destiny was always dirt-cheap and lazy!\u2019\u201d one Reddit post claims. \u201cEvery time I come out really humbled on the other side realizing just how many questions and problems about how to make Live Service that Bungie tackled gracefully\u2026 I think that\u2019s incredible.\u201d Other users chipped in with support of Bungie. \u201cDestiny is the only AAA live-service game that\u2019s actually working, and it\u2019s been doing that for 10 years. All other live-service games with this level of production have failed one way or another,\u201d one user typed. \u201cDestiny was born different, no one else could just \u201cmake\u201d a game like it no matter how hard they wished they could,\u201d another agreed. With the future of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League left in the hands of players, only time will tell if another game can come close to rivaling Bungie\u2019s success.
