Come weekly reset on July 23, all Salvation\u2019s Edge Challenges will be available for seven days rather than rotating in availability. Bungie apologized for the inconvenience caused, but many questioned why the bonus period wouldn\u2019t be a permanent fixture. \u201cCan we just leave all challenges active at all times?\u201d came one response that continued to suggest the normal rotation model was \u201cpurely for engagement purposes\u201d and \u201cplayer unfriendly.\u201d \u201cI\u2019ve never understood the time-gating of challenges\/content,\u201d came another. \u201cAll you\u2019re doing with this garbage system is DISCOURAGING people from playing,\u201d they continued. Others branded the compensation as \u201cabsolutely not acceptable,\u201d and queried how having every Challenge available for \u201cONE mere week\u201d was enough. \u201cHow exactly should this compensate for the fact that we have already done almost all of them?\u201d the same user probed.
