Perks have been a core part of Destiny’s progression ever since the first game was released in 2014. It’s no exaggeration to say that farming the best rolls possible for meta and desirable weapons is the most popular end-game activity in Bungie’s looter shooter. However, not every weapon is worth farming and many perks aren’t even worth considering. Be it due to them having terrible regular perks or unique yet useless Exotic perks, most loot ends up being dismantled. Now Destiny 2 players are speaking out against a weapon perk that they are sick of rolling and want to take out the game, though not everyone agrees. Destiny 2 perk’s huge trade-off proves unpopular Irritated that they keep getting weapon rolls with Slickdraw on them, one Destiny 2 fan posted on Reddit, “There is nobody who wants slick draw on anything Bungie,” before expressing, “I don’t even know why you felt the need to include such a worthless perk in the game.” The post insists, “Nobody wants slick draw on any gun in the game its an instant dismantle every single time,” and then elaborated, “Nobody is trying to use a perk that decreases their odds of their shots actually making contact with what they’re trying to kill.” Slickdraw is a weapon perk in Destiny 2 that grants a weapon 100 Handling and a slightly faster ready animation. However, this comes at the cost of a massively reduced auto aim once size, effectively reducing a weapon’s bullet magnetism and ease of use. Irritated by Slickdraw’s drawback, one Guardian replied, “Never understood why weapons seem to need horrible perk options in bungies eyes. Why can’t they all be good options making it hard to chose what to keep? Why do the insist on making these horrible ones that nobody wants? Mandatory bad perk quota they have to meet?” A different user who also does not rate Slickdraw commented, “Anything with big penalties suck, period. Slickdraw, Gutshot, Iron Banner perks, some adept weapon mods etc. Even a few barrels feel like insta-shards too, not sure why they bother keeping them in.” Some fans were more positive about Slickdraw commenting, “Slick draw is goated in PVP,” and “wrong. slickdraw eremite is one of the best fusions in PVP, and probably the best legendary fusion for PVP.” Despite its niche status these days, Slickdraw was once so strong that Bungie had to nerf it back in Season 14 as they felt it was too strong and made the Handling stat redundant on certain weapons.

Destiny 2 players slam “worthless” weapon perk that won’t go away Destiny 2 players are tired of receiving rolls on their weapons that include a certain perk that most people don’t see any value in, especially for PvE.
