Diablo 4 had a rocky launch earlier this year, with many fans so unhappy with the game\u2019s release and early patches they review bombed it. However, a recent interview with Electric Playground Network, Diablo\u2019s General Manager, Rod Fergusson has highlighted the devs were paying attention to community gripes. Fergusson explained the devs realization they needed to balance their desire to keep everything \u201con the same level\u201d and to strive for \u201cfairness\u201d with the fun of the players, acknowledging that \u201ctaking advantage of some exploit\u2026 can feel really, really fun.\u201d According to Fergusson, that\u2019s the attitude the devs have tried to embrace now in Season 2: \u201cBall-lightning Sorc is ridiculous, but we\u2019re just like, let them have their fun, we\u2019ll deal with it later, same with Hammer of the Ancients Barbarian. Ok fine, they\u2019re gonna exploit it a little bit, but it\u2019s fine.\u201d Blizzard are aiming to let the Diablo 4 community know they\u2019re listening and attempting to adjust for player expectations. After the harsh nerfs to class builds players faced back during Season 1, Diablo 4\u2019s community chief, Adam Fletcher, told players they\u2019d heard their feedback on the patch \u201cloud and clear.\u201d In Fergusson\u2019s recent interview he was also transparent about their early mistakes: \u201cFor Season 1 we didn\u2019t quite do it the way we should have,\u201d he admitted. All in all, this sounds like good news for Diablo fans.
