So, here’s how to complete the Monstrously Good Taste Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley. The monsters have arrived in Disney Dreamlight Valley thanks to the Monsters, Inc-inspired Laugh Floor update. With it comes a new Star Path, quests, furniture, clothing, and of course the recognizable characters, Mike and Sulley. However, along with their entrance to the game comes some friendship quests, which can often feel a little tricky to complete, especially when they include crafting items and recipes. So, with that in mind, here’s how to complete the Monstrously Good Taste Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley. How to complete the Monstrously Good Taste Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley Reach friendship level four with Mike Wazowski To start the Monstrously Good Taste Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you need to reach level four friendship with Mike Wazowski. To do this, we recommend talking to him, giving him any favorite gifts, and hanging out with him while completing tasks like the Star Path with Mike as your friend. This will be an ideal way to get to level four and unlock some new rewards at the same time. Make the Monstrous Cologne Once you’ve reached level four, chat with Mike and he’ll explain that the Valley is missing some elements, and will reveal that he wants to make a new cologne for Scrooge McDuck’s Store. To do this, you’ll need to head to Remy. After chatting with him, he’ll give you a Rotten Fish which you need to bury in Dazzle Beach. Then, wait 15 minutes and give it to Mike. You’ll then need a few questionable ingredients to turn the Fish into something ‘nice’ smelling: 5 Empty Vials – 7 Rich Soil – 1 Rotten Carp – To make Empty Vials, you can always check Kristoff’s store and buy them there, or you can craft them using 3 Glass per vial, so 15 Glass in total. Then, for the Rich Soil, you’ll want to plant and harvest crops. When you harvest the crops there’s a chance you’ll get Rich Soil as a byproduct. However, it can be a little rare so be sure to plant a fair few crops to increase your chances. Then the Rotten Carp should already be in your inventory as it’s the fish you buried at the start of the quest. Then just head to a crafting table and create the Monstrous Cologne. Test the cologne on villagers With the cologne crafted, it’s time to bring it to Scrooge. Naturally, he’ll dislike the smell and reject it from being in his store. So, you’ll need to show it to other villagers, like Scar and Vanellope. Scar will turn his nose up at the smell, while Vanellope will be pretty interested, although not in love with the idea. After this, Mike will turn to food rather than cologne. Make a Gourmet Rot Dog The next adventure Mike wants to try is cooking, although it’s arguably just as gross as the cologne. To make the Rot Dog he suggests, you need the below ingredients: 1 Wheat – 1 Milk – 1 Clam – 1 Scar hairball – Thankfully, Wheat is relatively easy to get hold of in Disney Dreamlight Valley. You can buy it from Goofy’s Store in the Peaceful Meadow, or grow it. Growing it will only take one minute so no need to wait too long. Then, you can buy Milk from Remy’s Pantry in his restaurant and you’ll find a Clam along the sands of Dazzle Beach. They look like pink shells. Lastly, you’ll need to head into Scar’s home to grab one of his hairballs. Once you head inside you’ll find it glistening on the ground. With those, put them all into a pot and create a Gourmet Rot Dog. Naturally, Remy won’t like the taste, but the player can explain that not everyone has the same taste. Shortly after, Mike will share the food with Sulley and they’ll bond over the dish, ending the quest.
