The latest Disney Dreamlight Valley Star Path is the romance and Monsters Inc-themed Lovely Monsters. This celebrates the game’s latest update, The Laugh Floor, which added Mike Wazowski and Sulley to the game, mixing rewards like Monsters University skins with prizes based on love and iconic Disney couples. As with other recent Star Paths, Lovely Monsters includes some tasks that are written in riddles that players must solve to figure out what they need to do. If you’re stuck on how to “Dig for something blue,” here’s how to best complete the task and make the most out of the event. How to “Dig for something blue” for the Lovely Monsters Star Path While the task mentions digging, you’ll be using your Pickaxe, not your Shovel, for this one. To complete the “Dig for something blue” task, players need to mine for any of the game’s blue gems, regular or Shiny. These are Aquamarine, Sapphire, Vitalys Crystal, and Blue Zircon. Here’s where to find them: Aquamarine can be found at Dazzle Beach or the Forest of Valor. – Sapphire and Vitalys Crystal can be found in the Vitalys Mine, located behind the river in the Sunlit Plateau. – Blue Zircon can be found in The Lagoon area of Eternity Isle. This is exclusive to the A Rift in Time expansion. – When exploring one of these areas, keep an eye out for mining nodes that are partially blue, as you’ll definitely find the gems you need by digging there. The best way to complete this task is to go to the Vitalys Mine. There are a lot of mining nodes here, meaning you’ll have plenty of chances to find what you need. Plus, you’ll find Vitalys Crystals pretty frequently here while also having the chance to obtain Sapphires. There’s also a Campfire near the entrance, so you can cook some meals if you need an energy boost. That’s all you need to know about completing the “Dig for something blue” Star Path duty!
