Tiana\u2019s arrival in Disney Dreamlight Valley is filled with exciting additions, including her new Meal Stall and a brand-new Restaurant. As revealed through Gameloft\u2019s Developer Update, few characters have brought as much to the game as she has. Every character has a unique way of making their entrance in each update, and Tiana is no exception. She won\u2019t join the game as soon as you find her \u2013 you\u2019ll need to do some convincing first. How to unlock Tiana To get Tiana in Disney Dreamlight Valley, complete Remy\u2019s A Taste for Literature quest. As soon as you open the game after the update, you get a letter in your mailbox under the name \u201cA culinary development.\u201d Here\u2019s a step-by-step breakdown of how to finish the quest. Find Remy\u2019s Book In this letter, Remy details how he found a mysterious book in the Glade of Trust, but can\u2019t pick it up himself. Head to the Glade of Trust in the southwest corner of the Valley and look for an open blue book. For me, it was near a pond, but it might be different for all players. Meet Remy and return the book Meet Remy in his restaurant and hand him the book. This prompts a memory to appear on the ground. Inspect it to get a photo of Merlin, Mickey, and Moana having a picnic together. Talk to the villagers from the memory Look for Moana, Mickey, and Merlin so that you can talk to them and get the next piece of the quest. While these three move around the world and aren\u2019t generally found in one particular area, you can track them using the map and teleporting to a nearby Well. They each tell you one ingredient they remember from the picnic, and Merlin even hands you the ingredient himself. Make Enchanted Shrimp \u00c9touff\u00e9e Now it\u2019s time to gather the ingredients for the Cajun recipe: Shrimp, Onion, Rice, and Milk. Here\u2019s how you can get each: Shrimp: You can catch Shrimp from blue ripples in Dazzle Beach. – Onion: Purchase seeds to grow Onions from Goofy\u2019s Stall in the Forest of Valor. – Rice: Purchase Rice from Goofy\u2019s Stall in the Glade of Trust. – Milk: Purchase Milk from Chez Remy\u2019s Pantry. – Bring all the ingredients back to the nearest cooking station and place them in the ingredient slots to make an Enchanted Shrimp \u00c9touff\u00e9e. Mine Sand from the teal-colored structures on Dazzle Beach or by digging this biome\u2019s soil. – Mine Coal Ore from rock nodes all over the Valley or Eternity Isle. – – Five Brick: You can craft Glass at a crafting station using five Clay and one Coal Ore. Dig Clay from the Glade of Trust, Sunlit Plateau, and the Forgotten Lands. – Mine Coal Ore from rock nodes all over the Valley or Eternity Isle. – – 10 Hardwood: Forage Hardwood in the Sunlit Plateau, Forest of Valor, Glade of Trust, and Frosted Heights. – 25 Softwood: Forage Softwood in the Plaza, Peaceful Meadow, Forest of Valor, and Glade of Trust. – Place Tiana\u2019s Meal Stall near the restaurant and buy a meal Once you have the required ingredients, look for Tiana\u2019s Meal Stall recipe under the Functional Items section of the crafting station. Then, place it near Tiana\u2019s Stall, purchase a meal, and check in with Tiana. Prepare for Tiana\u2019s Meal Stall Opening The next step is to invite Mother Gothel and Moana to the grand opening. An optional quest objective asks you to listen to Remy and Tiana\u2019s conversation about their menus. After they agree to attend this event, it\u2019s time to help Tiana prepare everything. Gather the following ingredients: 24 Hardwood: Forage Hardwood in the Sunlit Plateau, Forest of Valor, Glade of Trust, and Frosted Heights. – 30 Softwood: Forage Softwood in the Plaza, Peaceful Meadow, Forest of Valor, and Glade of Trust. – 18 Fiber: Craft Fiber with Seaweed at your crafting bench. You can get seaweed by fishing at ripple-free spots in Dazzle Beach and The Docks. – 9 Green Rising Penstemon: Forage these green flowers in the Peaceful Meadow. Make sure to pick up all flowers to allow them to regrow. – Once you\u2019ve gathered all the required ingredients, craft a Bistro Table and a Bistro Chair at a crafting station. These items are listed under Furniture and have Tiana\u2019s icon on the upper right. Decorate the area outside Tiana\u2019s Meal Stall with these items, as well as some Elegant Decoration from the Furniture menu. Celebrate the opening of Tiana\u2019s Meal Stall Check back with Tiana inside Tiana\u2019s Palace restaurant and grab the Inauguration Ribbon from her. Place it right in front of Tiana\u2019s Meal Stall to kick off the opening night. After taking a cute selfie with everyone, speak with the guests \u2013 Mother Gothel, Moana, and Remy. When all is said and done, report back to Tiana to complete Back from the Bayou. Tiana\u2019s Friendship Level 4 Quest: Little Louis\u2019s Big Break This quest is all about getting Tiana her own special companion, Little Louis. Follow these steps to complete Little Louis\u2019s Big Break in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Speak with Mother Gothel to free Louis Have a word with Mother Gothel inside her Willow Tree in the Glade of Trust. It\u2019s the huge treehouse by the lake; you can\u2019t miss it. You\u2019ll find out Louis has wrecked her garden, which left her with no other choice but to lock the little creature. If we want Louis free \u2013 which, we do, if only for Tiana \u2013 we must restore her garden for her. Restore Mother Gothel\u2019s garden To restore Mother Gothel\u2019s garden, get 10 Spinach Seeds, 10 Okra Seeds, and 10 Rice Seeds from Goofy\u2019s Stall in the Glade of Trust. You\u2019ll also need 48 White Picket Fences. You can craft three at a time with five Softwood at any crafting station, which means you\u2019ll need 80 Softwood total. If you need some extra Softwood, look in the Plaza, Peaceful Meadow, the Glade of Trust, and the Forest of Valor. If you own A Rift in Time, any biome in Ancient\u2019s Landing and most biomes in The Wild Tangle have a bit of Softwood. Next, dig 30 holes in the Glade of Trust and plant the required seeds. Then, protect the garden with the White Picket Fences you crafted. Mother Gothel is pleased with her new garden and gives you the key to free Louis. Unfortunately, as soon as he\u2019s free, he runs away. Build Little Louis\u2019s house: The Bayou Companion Home Tiana decides Louis is no regular croc and needs a home of his own. When you\u2019re done crafting, place Little Louis home in the Glade of Trust. Tiana\u2019s Level 7 Friendship Quest: Dreamlight Gastronomy To complete Dreamlight Gastronomy in Disney Dreamlight Valley, follow these steps. Recruit Villagers to participate in Tiana\u2019s culinary contest Speak with Woody, Anna, Kristoff, Mike, and Mulan to see if they\u2019re willing to participate in Tiana\u2019s culinary contest. After speaking to all of them, head inside Remy\u2019s house and talk to Tiana to let her know you\u2019re ready. Prepare the ingredients The next step is to prepare the potatoes, the corn, the herbs, and the seafood with your royal tools. Craft a Sandwich Board Gather the following materials to craft a Sandwich Board: 15 Stone: Break rocks with your Royal Pickaxe. – 20 Hardwood: Foraged in the Forest of Valor, Frosted Heights, Glade of Trust, and Sunlit Plateau. – Five Eggs: Bought at Chez Remy\u2019s kitchen pantry. – 10 Wheat: Bought from Goofy\u2019s Stall in the Peaceful Meadow. – Once you have all the required ingredients, head to a crafting station and look for the Sandwich Board recipe under Functional Items.
