CouRage made the difficult choice of leaving his dedicated audience behind on Twitch and joining the greener pasture on YouTube back in 2019. It wasn\u2019t a complete rebuild, however, as he still had a sizable viewerbase on YouTube already that he could capitalize on. Despite the majority of his content on the platform being Twitch highlights before his move, he still had a dedicated audience. On January 27, just a few months after his announcement, 100 Thieves revealed CouRage crossed the two million subscriber count on YouTube in a congratulatory tweet. \u201cThe CouRageous are now 2 million strong on YouTube,\u201d said the organization. \u201cCongratulations CouRageJD on creating such a positive and dedicated community. CouRage made the leap to YouTube in November 2019 and hasn\u2019t looked back. In fact, he ended up being the first major streamer to go from Twitch to YouTube exclusively. Although it happened at a much later date, his fellow 100 Thieves content creator Rachell \u2018Valkyrae\u2019 Hofstetter also joined him. These might have appeared to be surprising moves when they happened, but things become a lot clearer when you look at the ties 100 Thieves CEO Matthew \u2018Nadeshot\u2019 Haag has with YouTube, notably the head of gaming Ryan \u2018Fwiz\u2019 Wyatt. For the time being, there are no other plans for other 100 Thieves creators to move over to YouTube, but it wouldn\u2019t be strange to see that happen at some point.
