However, both patriarch Austin McBroom and matriarch Catherine Paiz are coming under fire after deciding to spend their holiday away from the camera. McBroom cleared the air on their sudden hiatus on December 23, claiming that both he and Paiz wanted to enjoy their Christmas celebration in private.
