Before the surprise suspension \u2014 which Rae first reported on Twitter on October 14 \u2014 she boasted a whopping 84.8 million followers, the third-highest on the app. A day later, the star has been freed back into the social media world on the ByteDance-owned platform, but only after she had the perfect response to her surprise suspension after spotting the ban on October 14. Following her ban, the TikTok star joked: \u201cWell, time to get a job.\u201d When TikTok users tried to access Addison Rae\u2019s verified profile on the ByteDance-owned app, they were greeted with a short error message, which read \u201cCouldn\u2019t find this account.\u201d There was no indication that the TikToker had been pre-warned about her impending suspension, especially considering she immediately posted about it on Twitter. In March this year, she also pivoted into a potential music career, releasing her first single \u201cObsessed\u201d alongside a music video that has now had 24.1 million views and raked in 771,000 positive reactions.
