The video instantly gained traction around the internet among fans, streamers and influencers alike. Hill, as well as a portion of his friends and fans, enjoyed the track. Others, including Rae, did not. \u201cThis makes me really sad,\u201d Rae said of the track. \u201cI can\u2019t change how people interact with me or my tweets\u2026 but I\u2019m thankful they do\u2026 I struggle with body image and insecurities in general and this can be so hurtful.\u201d Rae said that the content of the track \u201ccan tear someone\u2019s self-esteem up if they\u2019re already having negative thoughts in their own head.\u201d Hill\u2019s \u201cresearched\u201d track included lyrics such as \u201cthere\u2019s better girls than Addison Rae\u201d and \u201cI see hotter girls every day.\u201d This makes me really sad. I can\u2019t change how people interact with me or my tweets.. but i\u2019m thankful they do. They have kindness they aren\u2019t afraid to share with me and i\u2019m grateful for that. I struggle with body image and insecurities in general and this can be so hurtful \u2014 Addison Rae (@whoisaddison) April 6, 2020 Many hit out at Hill for the since-deleted video\u2019s content since it was out of character for the streamer. \u201cThis dude has \u2018positivity\u2019 in his title every stream yet went out of his way to make an entire ass song tearing down someone who he\u2019s never met or done anything wrong,\u201d Twitter user \u2018THump\u2019 said. \u201cImagine being that weird.\u201d Also replying to the tweet was fellow FaZe member \u2018Ewok,\u2019 saying that the video was \u201cUnnecessary. But it\u2019s obviously impression farming.\u201d The term refers to an online strategy that\u2019s sole purpose is to be consumed by as many people as possible. Hill later took down the video, saying the video was just a joke and that he wasn\u2019t trying to hurt anybody. Made a song earlier that didn\u2019t land well. Had no intention of hurting anyone.
