However, Felix \u2018xQc\u2019 Lengyel claimed they\u2019re no different to Pokemon TCG pack opening streams, and a heated debate between fans and streamers on both sides has been raging ever since. Asmongold chimed in on the issue, and not only is he against it, but he also called for Twitch to make them \u201cillegal.\u201d \u201c[There has been] a lot of talk about gambling streams recently,\u201d he said. \u201cI personally hate gambling and, if it were up to me, all forms of casino gambling would be illegal. If it\u2019s not against [Twitch\u2019s terms of service], people will [still] do it, though.\u201d For that reason, he called for Twitch to make a decision. But until that happens, he urged fans to not \u201chate on streamers\u201d because they\u2019re not doing anything wrong and that it \u201cwon\u2019t change anything.\u201d Still, that doesn\u2019t mean he likes it.
