The power of TikTok took on a whole new meaning earlier this week (July 5) as a wrongly-CC\u2019ed email caused chaos for a small business. Newly graduated jobseeker Gracie Lorincz applied to Ava Lane having been enticed by their inclusive motto, \u201cbeauty through confidence.\u201d Upon receiving an email back from VP Chuck DeGrendel, Gracie decided to share the result with her TikTok followers. \u201cI applied for this job as a brand representative,\u201d Gracie stated. \u201cThis is an email I accidentally got sent from the VP.\u201d It appears the email in the TikTok was meant for someone else within the recruiting process. \u201cThis girl is fresh out of college,\u201d it said. \u201c(She\u2019s) not that cute\u2026 Are you sure you want me to interview her?\u201d The TikTok has since amassed 1.7 million views. What is Ava Lane? Ava Lane is a family-owned boutique, founded \u201cand creatively directed\u201d by Laura DeGrendel.
