The news that Tfue filed a lawsuit against FaZe Clan broke on Monday, May 20, with his lawyer claiming that the org was holding the superstar to an \u201coppressive\u201d contract. As expected, the lawsuit has caused a massive stir on social media, drawing out reactions from a lot of prominent figures within the esports community, one of whom was Nadeshot. \u201cI hope recent news doesn\u2019t affect the broader gaming community\u2019s perception of esports teams,\u201d he tweeted. \u201cThere are plenty of organizations in the space whose top priority are their professional players and content creators.\u201d \u201cAnd for what it\u2019s worth, I\u2019m personally friends with a lot of the owners & staff over at FaZe Clan,\u201d he added. \u201cI know for a fact that the majority of them don\u2019t have ill intentions, but some at the organization just don\u2019t understand the esports ecosystem and take advantage where they can.\u201d 400 Unfortunately for Nadeshot, these comments were taken very seriously by two longtime and prominent members of FaZe Clan \u2013 Ricky \u2018Banks\u2019 Banks and Lucas \u2018Blaze\u2019 Mosing \u2013 both of whom posted strong-worded tweets in response. \u201cYou\u2019re a piece of shit dude, and when my side of this is heard, you\u2019ll see why,\u201d Banks tweeted. \u201cWay to fucking jump on the bandwagon and chase the clout. I apologize if my previous tweets don\u2019t reflect that sentiment. Tfue\u2019s lawsuit against FaZe Clan was officially filed on May 20, on the ground that they allegedly limited his ability to pursue his profession in violation of California law. According to Tfue\u2019s lawyer, FaZe were taking an 80% cut of all the revenue from his branded videos on social media, leaving the star streamer with only 20%.
