In September 2020, Poarch\u2019s \u2018M to the B\u2019 TikTok became the most liked video on the platform, racking up a massive 43 million likes at the time of writing. While other creators such as Charli D\u2019Amelio and Addison Rae have more followers on the platform, Poarch has still managed to launch a successful influencer career. But, as Poarch explained in a post on December 3, it wasn\u2019t all sunshine and rainbows, and TikTok actually saved her from a dark place in her life. As TikTok revealed Poarch to have had the most viral video of 2020 in their Year in Review, she posted a statement to Twitter explaining how much it really means to her \u2014 and it\u2019s a lot more than we might have thought. \u201cBefore any of this happened to me, I was in a really dark place,\u201d she explained. \u201cI would wake up going to war with my depression, PTSD, and anxiety\u2026 I felt hopeless\u2026 and planned to give up.\u201d That wasn\u2019t all, though. She continued: \u201cI\u2019m still fighting the same war, but the arsenal of things that help me fight are different now\u2026 For the first time in my life, I wake up looking forward to going to war.\u201d Finishing off by saying that she wants other people \u201cin a similar place\u201d to know that \u201cthings can change,\u201d Bella wants to spread a positive message, and given the 2020 she\u2019s had, she\u2019s living proof that things can turn around in a matter of seconds. Following on from her 2020 TikTok success, she says she\u2019s been working with \u201csongwriters and producers who have made the music for all my favorite artists\u201d and has even been linked with a move to 100 Thieves.
