Rosbach\u2019s future has been in doubt all season long, after being forced out of his position as captain mid-charter season for the first time ever. On medical grounds, he was swapped out for Below Deck Mediterranean\u2019s Captain Sandy, who went on to fire two members of his crew while he was gone. He admits now \u2013 even after getting angered by her decisions \u2013 that Sandy was in a difficult spot. He told The People previously that she \u2018did him a solid\u2019 stepping in on short notice. In another report, The People also reported he said it \u201cfeels right\u201d to bow out. Captain Lee debunks reports of Below Deck retirement The Season 10 finale aired on March 20, with Lee speculated to be feeling it is the end of the road for him on the Bravo series. During the episode, he said: \u201cBeing a captain and being out on the water, there\u2019s just something kind of magical out there. It feels right, it\u2019s kind of like Christmas morning.\u201d He added: \u201cI really hate to say goodbye to any of this crew. I would stack them up against anyone, I really would. Over on Twitter, he responded to the report from The People, saying he was ready to retire. He said: \u201cThey didn\u2019t talk to me about this piece.\u201d In another tweet, he posted: \u201cWell that\u2019s a wrap on another season, I enjoyed this season but last two charters were special. Thanks to all who tuned in tonight, you know the drill, gym in the am and to anyone I missed, catch you on the flip side. Don\u2019t read too much into anything, We\u2019ll continue to have fun.\u201d \u201cWho said that, not me,\u201d he added. In addition to that, he said: \u201cI haven\u2019t retired, in spite of what\u2019s been reported by \u2018sources\u2019.\u201d Rewatch Captain Lee\u2019s comeback here, with Hayu. In another tweet, Captain Lee left fans with hope that his days on the show\u2019s cast are not over. \u201cGoing on 40 years I\u2019ve been a yacht captain, have I seen a lot of crazy s\u2014?\u201d he said during the episode, while he asked: \u201cIs a 40-pound robin fat? Yeah.\u201d He previously promised to come back and finish the season out \u2013 and for that, he did keep his word. \u201cI made a promise that I would come back. That\u2019s a promise that I delivered. I want people to look at the job that I\u2019ve done and go, \u2018He set the bar high, and he kept it high.\u2019 God d\u2014, what a ride. \u201cI don\u2019t know what\u2019s gonna happen in the future, but the ocean\u2019s always gonna be part of me,\u201d he added.
