Charli D\u2019Amelio botches Stranger Things reenactment with Noah Schnapp Charli D’Amelio, YouTube \/ NetflixCharli D\u2019Amelio is TikTok\u2019s most popular content creator, due in part to her experience in competitive dance \u2014 but her acting skills could use some help, as seen during her collaboration with Stranger Things\u2019 Noah Schnapp. Actor Noah Schnapp is best known for his role as Stranger Things\u2019 Will Byers, who \u2014 spoiler alert \u2014 was stuck inside the Upside Down during the Netflix show\u2019s first season, later using his connection to the alternate dimension to save the day as the series continued. The 15-year-old star has grown up on camera, and much like D\u2019Amelio, found fame at a very young age, with the two celebrities coming together for a surprise collaboration at the end of March. D\u2019Amelio used her choreography skills to teach Schnapp a few moves, which they broke down in her hometown dance studio. Schnapp returned the favor by giving the TikTok star an acting class, which took a hilariously unexpected turn. For his impromptu session, Noah tasked Charli with recreating a scene from Stranger Things season one, which shows character Joyce Byers losing her wits as she hears Will\u2019s breathing over the phone, desperately hoping her son is alive and safe. \u201cIt\u2019s perfect,\u201d Schnapp said of the scene. \u201cWhat do you mean it\u2019s perfect?\u201d she shot back. \u201cIt\u2019s hard!\u201d \u201cYou just have to like, cry and freak out,\u201d he explained. \u201cYou\u2019re basically talking to me. Just pretend I\u2019m on the other end of the phone.\u201d Considering the high emotional intensity of Winona Ryder\u2019s character, D\u2019Amelio did her best to replicate her fear and desperation \u2014 but ended up being a little too over the top, breaking out into laughter after throwing her phone across the room. \u201cI think, soon, we will definitely be casting you on Stranger Things,\u201d Schnapp joked after \u201cwrapping\u201d the scene. \u201cI think you should check your emails, in case you get an email from the director.\u201d (Segment begins at 2:48 for mobile viewers) This isn\u2019t the TikToker superstar\u2019s first stint in the acting world, either; she also admitted to doing a bit of voice acting for a movie during her collab with James Charles.
