Chase Hudson a.k.a. Lil Huddy rose to popularity through viral video app TikTok, with over 31.8 million followers on the platform. However, he\u2019s also been putting a huge focus on his music career, and has released popular hits such as \u2018America\u2019s Sweetheart\u2019 and \u201921st Century Vampire.\u2019 In celebration of the release of his new song \u2018Don\u2019t Freak Out,\u2019 Chase did an interview with Vogue which they went on to post on both their Instagram page and YouTube channel. View this post on Instagram However, many were opposed to seeing the star on Vogue\u2019s page, flooding the comment section with criticism. \u201cVogue going downhill with this one,\u201d one fan wrote, with another saying: \u201cit\u2019s sad that Vogue has come to this, they put any TikToker or whatever instead of real self made artists with real talent.\u201d Another commenter said that they miss \u201cthe old Vogue\u201d when it was just about \u201cfashion and actual icons.\u201d The criticism caught the attention of Chase himself, who responded to the hate on his own Instagram story. \u201cThey never want you to win or be successful,\u201d he wrote above a link to the video, \u201cthank you Vogue for this amazing opportunity.\u201d He went on to say: \u201cLeave some love on this post, let\u2019s drown out hate with positivity.\u201d The post was promptly filled with comments from fans supporting the star and his interview with Vogue, though it wasn\u2019t enough to entirely drown out the negative comments.
