Known for his crazy pranks and stunts, Dobrik boasts over 13 million subscribers on YouTube and is slated to host the 2019 Teen\u2019s Choice Awards alongside actress Lucy Hale of \u2018Pretty Little Liars\u2019 fame. While at Variety\u2019s Power of Young Hollywood event on August 7, Dobrik shared his thoughts about Paul and Mongeau\u2019s relationship with Entertainment Tonight. What did Dobrik have to say? When ET\u2019s Katie Krause asked Dobrik if he thought the YouTube power couple\u2019s relationship would be a \u201cforever thing\u201d, he simply replied \u201cOf course not.\u201d \u201cTana and Jake? I would be surprised if their marriage lasts another three days,\u201d the YouTuber said, before recalling his marriage to Lorraine Nash, which only lasted a month. \u201cWe ended on good terms, I don\u2019t know if Tana and Jake have that in them.\u201d \u201cI think they\u2019re just too young, and too crazy to stay with each other,\u201d Dobrik explained. \u201cI think they\u2019re both lunatics \u2013 in a good way \u2013 and they won\u2019t be able to handle each other. The YouTuber also isn\u2019t convinced that the pair\u2019s wedding was even legit. \u201cIs the marriage real? No,\u201d Dobrik replied with a laugh. \u201cI think someone looked it up and they didn\u2019t have marriage papers.\u201d \u201cIt doesn\u2019t matter because at the end of the day it\u2019s so entertaining, and the fact you\u2019re even talking about means they got the job done,\u201d he added. \u201cSo, they\u2019re killing it.\u201d Timestamp @ 1:20 for mobile viewers. So\u2026 did Jake and Tana actually get married? To make a long story short: kind of. They went through the motions and had a full ceremony, but Mongeau herself admitted that her union with Paul was not legally binding due to finding such legalities \u201cunnecessary.\u201d \u201cTo everybody that\u2019s calling it fake because we rushed into it or because I don\u2019t do things traditionally, because I wanted to not do it legally,\u201d she said in a video about the wedding. \u201cAny wedding I have, if I have three more fucking weddings, I really wouldn\u2019t want to do it on paper because I think that legally binding yourself to someone takes away the love.\u201d So it seems like Dobrik was partly correct about Tana and Jake\u2019s wedding not being 100 percent official, but whether his prediction that the couple won\u2019t last much longer is accurate remains to be seen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
