But apparently, that doesn\u2019t mean he\u2019s making good money. During an episode of the VIEWS Podcast that aired on January 2, Dobrik revealed that he \u201chasn\u2019t made a dollar\u201d from his content on the platform in \u201cthree to four years.\u201d But that doesn\u2019t mean he wants to jump ship. \u201cI think money is important because money can make so many other people happy,\u201d said Dobrik. Then Jason Nash, the co-host of The Views podcast, disclosed that Dobrik makes \u201czero dollars\u201d from YouTube. Dobrik admitted it\u2019s true. \u201cYeah. That\u2019s f**ked up,\u201d he said. \u201cI was thinking about that the other day. For the people who don\u2019t know, I haven\u2019t made a dollar off YouTube in like three to four years.\u201d He also revealed that he considered switching to a paid platform but decided against it. \u201cI had a meeting with a paid platform person. I was like yeah, let\u2019s do it. But after the meeting, I went f**king gray in the face.\u201d The reason is that he feels like it would be \u201cf**ked up\u201d to charge people for his content. \u201cIf I make something great, I\u2019m not going to want to put it behind a paywall. I\u2019m going to want to put it out so everybody can access it.\u201d In December 2021, Dobrik admitted that he\u2019s considering pulling the plug on his YouTube vlogs, but for different reasons. \u201cI think I did what I wanted to do with the vlogs,\u201d he said. \u201cI just want to try something new. I\u2019m like 25. When the f**k am I going to stop vlogging? When does the next thing happen?\u201d He\u2019s still at it for the time being.
