Dixie D’Amelio is one of TikTok’s top content creators, boasting over 20 million followers on the platform due to her viral dance videos. It’s also worth noting that Dixie is the older sister of Charli, TikTok’s most-followed creator at 49.4 million followers — a fact that one hater feels is the only reason for Dixie’s success on the popular mobile app. Writer Alexis Dent hit out at Dixie on Twitter due to this assumption, retweeting a TikTok that accused the internet star of only finding TikTok fame due to her connection to her younger sister. “Sorry not sorry,” Dent wrote, going on to tag Charli, Dixie, and Marc D’Amelio “for good measure.” https://twitter.com/alexisdent/status/1251582948081651714?s=20 Unsurprisingly, fans of the sisters hit out at Dent’s divisive tweet, with one sarcastically replying, “Hahaha, we love bringing other girls down, ahaha so funny.” The writer stood her ground in spite of the backlash, arguing that Dixie is “untalented” and clarifying that her post wasn’t gender-specific, as the fan insinuated. “Bruh, she has no talent,” Dent argued. “Please tell me ONE talent she has. One. She fails upwards, and it has nothing to do with gender. I love lifting up women who are smart as badass. Dixie is neither.” https://twitter.com/alexisdent/status/1251603361545281540?s=20 While such a hurtful comment might get under anyone’s skin, Dixie showed that she’s good at giving the haters the cold shoulder, as evidenced by her succinct clapback to the drama. “How can I change for you?” Dixie wrote in a quote tweet of Dent’s reply, adding a few emojis for good measure. However, this didn’t seem to quell Dent’s outrage over the matter, who went on bash Dixie’s dancing skills and accused her of using her sister’s success for her own stardom. Girl if you have an actual talent, show it. It’s clearly not dancing. And you don’t really show your personality. It’s charli’s clout. Do something besides ride the coattails of other Tik Tokers with clout. I’d love to see it — tyrannosaurus lex (@alexisdent) April 18, 2020 This is far from the first time the D’Amelio sisters have faced unwarranted hatred online; Dixie previously opened up about how rude comments about her body used to heavily affect her, and although she has grown past these insults, she’s still battling haters to this day — and she’s pretty damn good at giving them a taste of their own medicine.

Dixie D’Amelio hits back at troll accusing her of using Charli for fame Dixie D’Amelio, YouTubeTikTok star Dixie D’Amelio was targeted by a hateful comment from a Twitter user — leading her to clap back with the perfect response to their unexpected vitriol.
