Dixie D\u2019Amelio hacked: TikTok star\u2019s account deleted after suspected hack Instagram: Dixie D’AmelioDixie D\u2019Amelio\u2019s TikTok account has been deleted, following a series of strange posts on the internet superstar\u2019s social media profile that suggests her 46.2 million follower page was hacked on December 13. When attempting to access Dixie\u2019s account, users are now greeted with an error message that reads \u201cuser doesn\u2019t exist.\u201d The 19-year-old TikTok superstar boasted just over 46 million followers before the \u2018hack,\u2019 and 1.6 billion likes. The suspected hacker seems to have posted several TikTok clips on D\u2019Amelio\u2019s page before disabling the profile. The account\u2019s bio was also updated to read \u201cfollow @koiiddd\u201d. The first clip shows a mouse \u2018benching\u2019 a trap with the caption \u201cpreparing to hack Dixie.\u201d The second mentions The Chuckling Squad, an online hacker group that famously gained access to Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey\u2019s account in late 2019. Several of the deleted clips also refer to an unknown user, \u201cJoe,\u201d as well as a private Instagram account with the handle \u201clucifer\u201d that has more than 11k followers. While Dixie has yet to officially comment on the suspected hack, or her profile\u2019s deletion, she did respond to TikTokRoom \u2014 who originally shared the news \u2014 on Instagram with a tongue in cheek joke about the developing situation. \u201cI guess dixie123 was a bad password,\u201d the TikTok sensation wrote. Soon after the 19-year-old\u2019s profile was disabled, her father Marc D\u2019Amelio suffered a similar fate. Marc\u2019s profile, which boasts a following of 8.8 million fans, had similar clips posted on the timeline. These posts, Dexerto has confirmed, also refer to the \u201clucifer\u201d Instagram account, and multiple have the hastag \u201c#F*ckTheDamelios.\u201d The hackers also threatened to \u201cget Charli\u2019s profile next,\u201d but as of publishing her TikTok account \u2014 which has 102.9m followers \u2014 is still online. Will Dixie get her TikTok account back? TikTok was quick to react to this and have already reinstated D\u2019Amelio\u2019s account. In a statement to Insider, a spokesperson said, \u201cAfter the D\u2019Amelios contacted us, we immediately locked their accounts to prevent any misuse, and we\u2019re working with them to better protect their accounts in the future.\u201d Dixie\u2019s father, Marc, is also having his TikTok account security restored. A source tells me that TikTok is in the process of restoring @dixiedamelio\u2019s account which had tens of millions of followers. Addison Rae had her account temporarily suspended in mid-August. Her iconic handle, \u2018addisonre,\u2019 was changed to \u2018joeandzak1,\u2019 and several videos were posted on her profile.
