Audio issues in Fortnite Battle Royale For a moment, the popular Twitch streamer might have thought that he was playing against Call of Duty players with Dead Silence, but that simply wasn\u2019t the case. Epic Games\u2019 audio in Fortnite Battle Royale has long been subject to immense scrutiny for quite some time, certainly among the competitive community, and Dr Disrespect has now branded it a \u201cterrible\u201d problem that needs dealing with. Dr Disrespect questions Fortnite\u2019s audio \u201cWhat the fuck is up with this audio?\u201d the Doc said during his livestream. \u201cIt\u2019s terrible. It\u2019s so fucking terrible. It\u2019s bad\u201d he said, after being shot by an opponent he didn\u2019t hear coming. Just moment later, the enemy swooped in for a second swipe at the Two-Time before eliminating him from the game with a shotgun, despite the streamer\u2019s best efforts to protect himself with materials. \u201cIt\u2019s BAD! The audio is terrible. Look at this guy, you can\u2019t even hear him. He\u2019s a terrible gamer,\u201d he shouted, clearly bemused by what had just happened. Dr Disrespect and other streamers have been talking about general audio issues for quite some time, but this time he was much more specific after being eliminated. Audio issues explained \u201cIt sounded like he dropped onto the ground,\u201d the Two-Time added, continuing to pile on with his criticism of the sound. \u201cIt literally sounded like he jumped off and hit the ground, like he was on ground level, but he was three stories above me. It just didn\u2019t make sense. The sounds are way off.\u201d Many members of the Twitch chat also agreed with the Doc, with some suggesting that it might have been a bug. However, based on the footage, it does appear as if the player did drop down at the time he said they were up high. This isn\u2019t the first time he\u2019s made his feelings clear about Fortnite\u2019s issues, though. Dr Disrespect has criticized not only the game\u2019s sound problems, but has also branded its content \u201cterrible\u201d in the past \u2013 predicting that it would \u201cdie\u201d in a year. Epic Games are yet to comment about potential audio issues in the battle royale game, but many players would argue that these aren\u2019t new problems, but instead much more long standing.
