Dr Disrespect slams EA in rant about Anthem Uber-popular Twitch streamer Dr Disrepsect isn\u2019t buying into the hype surrounding Anthem, slamming EA for making a \u2018cookie cutter game.\u2019 The title \u2013 which was initially teased back at E3 2017 \u2013 is a multiplayer game developed by BioWare and is being published by EA. It is scheduled for release on February 22. While the game may have plenty of hype surrounding it, they have yet to win over the two-time video gaming champion and it doesn\u2019t looking like he will be rushing to open his wallet and splash some cash on the new title. Speaking on stream about the game, The Doc stated: \u201cI\u2019ll tell you right now, EA I\u2019m going to go out on a limb right now \u2013 Anthem, it\u2019s gonna be bad. I can just tell you right now.\u201d He continues: \u201cIt has nothing to do with the talent of the studio or anything, I can just tell by the way it looks \u2013 a lot of the assets that you are reusing, specifically from Mass Effect.\u201d \u201cAnd the gameplay, I mean, it\u2019s just a cookie cutter game. In my opinion, it\u2019s a cookie cutter game. I haven\u2019t even played it.\u201d Seeming to talking more generally about upcoming releases, the Doc says \u201cI hate to be a Debbie Downer but it\u2019s time we elevate the quality, ladies and gentlemen.\u201d However, it\u2019s not like The Doc hasn\u2019t changed his opinion on something in the past. He, like EA Access subscribers, will be able to get his hands on the game a month early.
