Tourist sparks outrage after jumping in Elvis Presley\u2019s pool Earlier this year, a TikToker by the name \u2018nannyxmurphy1\u2019 uploaded a video showing her hubby jumping into the pool at Elvis\u2019s home in Graceland. It\u2019s hard not to notice the gate preventing tourists from entering the pool area \u2014 not to mention the sign posted on it that reads, \u201cRestricted area, do not enter.\u201d The TikToker\u2019s hubby decided to go for a plunge, anyway, much to the apparent dismay of a nearby security guard who was too far away to prevent him from diving in. Commenters were left divided about the video, which has since racked up over 14 million views on TikTok. \u201cHow is this funny?\u201d one user asked. \u201cPeople are so disrespectful and I hope he got arrested.\u201d \u201cIt\u2019s people that do stuff like this that ruin attractions that are open to the public, and then people wonder why certain things get taken away,\u201d another pointed out. \u201cCool. Now it will be blocked off to the general public to see,\u201d yet another said. However, other commenters are arguing in favor of the man, with one user saying: \u201cI think Elvis would say, \u2018Finally, someone used the pool!\u201d \u201cWhat he did was worth it,\u201d another commenter said. \u201cHaha, bet not many can say they took a dip in Elvis Presley\u2019s pool!\u201d Murphy later posted a follow-up video showing herself and her hubby getting escorted off the premises directly after the incident, with her husband saying, \u201cMake me famous,\u201d and Murphy replying, \u201cYou will [be].\u201d She also replied to one angry commenter who hoped her partner would \u201cget arrested.\u201d \u201cNo, it\u2019s not disrespectful to jump into a pool,\u201d she argued back. \u201cElvis caught someone jumping into his pool once and he never stopped him.
