Alexander is known for his family-oriented content with his partner, Desiree, focused on the upcoming birth of their child, and their young daughters, Zoey and Jade. On the D&Z Family Instagram account, Zay posted an image of him in tears, and said it would be his last post. \u201cI just can\u2019t take it mentally anymore,\u201d it said. \u201cFight everyday and I can\u2019t shake this, it may not be the best choice but better than the way I am feeling.\u201d The post went on to explain his raw emotions, thanking his wife, but ultimately signaling to followers that he is considering suicide. On his personal Instagram story, he posted a blank image with the caption \u201cthinking about ending it all.\u201d Later on January 16, Desiree posted an update on their Instagram story, stating: \u201cThe police have found him and I\u2019ve finally spoken to him. He\u2019s safe.\u201d Due to some previous pranks from the couple, she also hit back at accusations that this was a prank for attention. \u201cAnd for those of you all thinking this is a prank, this is real life we are dealing with\u2026 \u201cNothing to joke or play about, all I ask is that you keep our family in your prayers.\u201d The couple has grown a successful YouTube channel with over 300,000 subscribers, in addition to similar follower counts on Instagram and TikTok.
