Due to its rarity and prestige, FaZe5 always draws a lot of interest as it gives those aspiring to make a career out of gaming a chance to join the world’s biggest esports organization. Tens of thousands of fans submitted tons of content during the competition’s open entry period, but only 100 survived the first cut when it was announced back on October 23. Now, that list has been slashed again, down to just 20 – and all of the details for it can be found below: FaZe 5 top-20 finalists Proze – 22 years old – HunterTV – 20 – Conrady – 20 – Zenon – 9 – Lough – 14 – Zogoro – 22 – Cannaestia – 35 – K1ng – 14 – Montoya Twinz – 20 – Scope – 21 – RowdyRogan – 6 – Flea – 22 – Faxuty – 22 – NioRooch – 20 – Virus – 22 – Grant the Goat – 17 – Milliam – 15 – Stevie – 19 – Cufboys – 22 – Absorber – 17 – How was the top-20 determined? There are obviously a lot of factors that go into deciding who gets to move onto the next phase of FaZe5, including in-game skill, mastery of craft, ability to entertain, and wow-factor. Following the top-100 announcement, those who advanced were given specific challenges to complete, including things like sending in something different than the original submission and making a ‘day in the life’ video. They were also required to put forth an example of how they’d promote G FUEL, since all five winners will receive a sponsorship with the brand. That was followed by a collaborative challenge, one that paired up similar participants and required them to submit a single piece of content featuring them both in some way. What’s next in FaZe 5? Now that the top-20 has been announced, the next step is for them to complete another series of challenges in order to help the org decide who will be crowned a winner. As things stand, there will not be another in-between cutoff from now until the winners get revealed, so whatever these 20 finalists get asked to do will hold a lot of weight in determining who survives the final stage. Here’s a reminder of what’s on the line: Nissan Kicks SUV (only for first-place) – $20,000 signing bonus – G FUEL endorsement contract for 3-6 months – FaZe have not yet announced when the five victors will be unveiled, but if they follow the previous FaZe5, there will be an individual video released for each winner – one per day until all five are made public.

FaZe Clan announce top 20 finalists for FaZe5 & what’s coming next FaZe ClanThe search for the next batch of FaZe 5 winners has dwindled down to just 20 finalists, who were unveiled by FaZe Clan on November 29 along with what’s happening next in the process.
