FaZe Clan drop Kay over \u2018crypto pump\u2019 allegations, suspend Jarvis, Nikan & Teeqo Instagram: FazeKayFaZe Clan has removed Kay from the organization and suspended Jarvis, Nikan, and Teeqo amidst cryptocurrency drama that saw members promoting a \u2018Save The Kids\u2019 altcoin before reportedly \u2018dumping\u2019 their investments. Cryptocurrency has become a hot topic across social media of late as many of the world\u2019s biggest influencers have jumped on the trend to promote various altcoins. One particular altcoin, known as the \u2018Save The Kids\u2019 token, was promoted by various members of FaZe Clan. Days after engaging with this cryptocurrency, Kay has been removed from the organization, while three others have been suspended. Jarvis, Nikan, and Teeqo, all of which promoted the same token to their respective audiences, have been suspended from FaZe Clan until further notice. \u201cFaZe Clan had absolutely no involvement with our member\u2019s activity in the cryptocurrency space,\u201d the org\u2019s July 1 statement read. \u201cWe strongly condemn their recent behavior. The trust and respect of our fans has been, and will always be, our number one priority.\u201d The members in focus were all reportedly paid to promote the altcoin before \u2018dumping\u2019 their own investments. None of the social media influencers have yet issued a response since FaZe Clan dropped or suspended them. \u201cI didn\u2019t vet any of this with my team at FaZe and I now know I should have,\u201d Kay tweeted in a June 28 apology days prior to being released. \u201cIt was so irresponsible of me to speak publicly about any coins without knowing more & knowing now that they can do more harm than good.\u201d From YouTube stars to the biggest Twitch streamers, many have latched onto the cryptocurrency trend in recent months. Even FaZe Clan founder and co-owner Banks promoted a unique cryptocurrency in a now-deleted May 27 post. While remaining silent on the FaZe Clan shakeup, Banks took to Twitter hours later to distance himself from \u201cpump and dump\u201d accusations. \u201cI\u2019ve never one time been a part of a pump and dump,\u201d he said. \u201cThat\u2019s never happened. My wallet\u2019s public. I wasn\u2019t a part of any of this. I\u2019m an open book and have an actual love for this space.\u201d Kay was a longstanding member of FaZe Clan, having joined the organization in 2013. His younger brother Jarvis is a more recent addition, having come on board in 2019.
