Forever 21 staff call the cops on TikToker for filming in store TIKTOK: JonTheDonA TikToker went viral for sharing his interaction with Forever 21 employees, after they called the cops on him and his friends for filming in the store. In a viral video, Jonathan Davis was told by a Forever 21 employee that if he\u2019s \u201cnot gonna buy anything and [he\u2019s] recording will [he] please leave the store.\u201d \u201cActually I\u2019m about to buy something and relax,\u201d Jonathan said to the employee, as he was holding an item from the store. \u201cIf we made anybody feel uncomfortable, they did not let us know that.\u201d The camera panned to show a police officer telling the TikToker that the workers didn\u2019t want him in the store. Jonathan then spoke to a Forever 21 employee to inform her that he\u2019s filming himself, because he \u201cmakes TikToks and [has] a social media platform.\u201d She claimed that recording isn\u2019t allowed in Forever 21 stores, and he asked if that policy was posted anywhere. \u201cWill you lower your voice please? I\u2019m not yelling at you\u201d the employee told Jonathan, who told her he\u2019s not yelling at anybody. She then said that he\u2019s \u201ccoming at\u201d her. \u201cNo ma\u2019am. That\u2019s why we don\u2019t stop the cameras,\u201d the TikToker said, looking at the camera still recording him. As Jonathan left the store in disbelief, he showed that another police officer and a police dog were waiting outside. \u201cI can\u2019t believe this happened to me,\u201d he captioned his video, which amassed 1.9 million views. \u201cForever 21 we gotta do better.\u201d In the comments, many TikTok users praised Jonathan for how he handled the situation. \u201cYou handled this so respectfully, I\u2019m proud of you. This is micro-aggression and it\u2019s unacceptable. Sorry you had to experience this,\u201d one user wrote. \u201cI wouldn\u2019t have bought anything from anyone treating me that way. Y\u2019all handled it well,\u201d another added. \u201cDiscrimination at its finest. He was so respectful,\u201d a third said.
