Former Joe Rogan Podcast guest reportedly shot and dismembered a man YouTube: PowerfulJREA recent guest on the Joe Rogan Experience Podcast has been charged with murder after being caught with a dismembered corpse in a Bronx apartment. A high-profile anti-violence activist and ex-con has been charged with murder, manslaughter, and weapon possession less than one month after appearing on The Joe Rogan Experience. 48-year-old Sheldon Johnson Jr. was taken in for questioning by police after reports of gunfire led officers to a Bronx apartment where the mutilated corpse of Colin Small was found. Small had been dismembered, his decapitated head found with a bullet wound. Several body parts were also discovered inside a freezer, including Small\u2019s severed arms, legs, and a foot. Security footage showed a suspect assumed to be Johnson Jr. wearing various disguises as he entered and exited the building\u2019s elevator. Nonetheless, Johnson Jr. declared his innocence to reporters as he was led from the 44th Precinct stationhouse to appear in Bronx Criminal Court. Prior to his latest arrest, Johnson Jr. was sentenced to 50 years in an upstate prison for a 1997 robbery committed in his early 20s. He was released in May after 25 years and hired as a client advocate for Queens Defender. Appearing on Joe Rogan\u2019s podcast in an episode titled \u201cSentenced to 50 Years Sheldon Johnson Decided to Turn His Life Around,\u201d Johnson Jr. discussed his criminal past and moving forward. His lawyer also appeared on the episode, dubbing Johnson Jr. a \u201cmiracle\u201d and claiming he had been unfairly sentenced for the robbery. Still available on YouTube, viewers pointed out how the episode failed to age well with Johnson Jr. arrested again for a much more serious crime this time. \u201c25 years locked up.
