Food Lion customer filled three carts full of groceries they didn\u2019t take home A Food Lion employee by the name of Malik recently took to TikTok to expose a customer for not being able to afford their groceries. The video shows at least three full carts of food ranging from Hungry Man meals to assorted beverages and snacks like Rice Crispy Treats and Mott\u2019s Gummies. Though the customer wasn\u2019t revealed, Malik videotaped their receipt of food that they made him ring up, despite not taking a single item home. In the now-viral video, Malik opened with the commentary, \u201cThis y\u2019all, this is why\u2026 three carts full! They didn\u2019t even buy it and that\u2019s what makes me mad.\u201d Malik proceeded to explain that everything the customer had in their multiple carts had not even been rung up yet. He also captioned his video, \u201cI hate food stamp day,\u201d as the customer allegedly didn\u2019t have the cash nor food stamps to cover their groceries. Those who have seen Malik\u2019s video commented on their own shopping stories, saying, \u201cI\u2019m over here with my calculator out in the store making sure I don\u2019t go over $160 per week for four people with our 50-hour work week.\u201d While another asked the rightful question, \u201cHow do people not check their card balance before going to the store?\u201d One person even became nostalgic, remembering when three carts full of groceries used to cost roughly $300 instead of $1,000.
