PewDiePie is the biggest YouTuber in the world, amassing over 103 million subscribers to his channel. The Swedish personality had a massive year in 2019, launching his successful Minecraft series, getting married, and buying a house in Japan. So when he announced he was taking a break after 10 years of daily video uploads, it was understandable. Now a video on social media shows the star having a blast on his time off, proving he made the right decision. Video shows PewDiePie enjoying his break Since taking his hiatus on January 15, Pewds hasn’t been seen much as he deleted his Twitter at the end of 2019, and doesn’t post often on his social media accounts. However, a video posted by Australian YouTuber Joey ‘The Anime Man’ Bizinger showed the Swede belting out a tune at a Karaoke bar with a group of friends, including musician Dave ‘Boyinaband.’ His music of choice? Of course, the The Numa Numa Song by O-Zone which was popularized by the classic 2005 meme. I just feel like I need to do this.” While he enjoy his rest, his fans are missing his absence greatly. Over on his subreddit, which was featured in his Last Week I Asked You segments, things have descended into meme chaos while they await the return of their king. This isn’t the first time the Swedish star has performed the The Numa Numa song. After reaching his 100 million subscriber milestone, he streamed Minecraft for over 12 hours, and 10 hours into the stream, he and Jacksepticye hilarious sang the tune. (Timestamp 10:34:14 for mobile users.) Only time will tell when the YouTube king will return to his platform. However if anyone deserves a break, it’s PewDiePie. His years of constant work is what helped propel him to the top of the industry. Fans shouldn’t worry about him staying on break forever. During an interview with his editor Sive Morten on January 17, he said the Swede was “addicted” to making content and couldn’t see him ever quitting.

Hilarious karaoke video shows PewDiePie is really enjoying YouTube break Twitter: @TheAn1meMan / UnsplashFresh off Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg taking his much deserved break from YouTube, fans got a glimpse of what the Swede has been up to on his vacation – and it looks like he’s having a great time.
