Instagram star Supreme Patty under fire for throwing cat \u201cSupreme Patty\u201d is one of Instagram\u2019s biggest stars, boasting over six million followers on the platform \u2013 but in spite of his popularity, the internet celeb is coming under fire for a familiar offense. The 20-year-old Floridian Instagram sensation is known for his outrageous content, being akin to the late great \u201cJackass\u201d crew with his hilarious stunts and over-the-top videos. However, one of these videos is sparking outrage across the net, and it\u2019s not the first time such an offense has occurred in the online world, either. Patty uploaded a video to Instagram on November 26 that featured himself and a group of friends standing in a circle and throwing things over their heads \u2013 one of which happened to be a living, breathing cat. Although it seems like the feline landed on its feet, the internet is taking issue with the video, with many commenters speaking out on apparent mistreatment of the animal. \u201cI honestly think throwing a cat isn\u2019t fun or funny,\u201d one user commented. \u201cWho knows what would\u2019ve happened if the cat got hurt?\u201d \u201cIf they want to throw stuff in the air to hurt themselves, that\u2019s on them,\u201d another user agreed. \u201cThe cat shouldn\u2019t be brought into it.\u201d \u201cIt\u2019s pathetic and so heartless,\u201d another wrote. Internet regulars will know that this isn\u2019t the first time a social media celeb has tossed a cat on camera: in July, Twitch streamer \u201cAlinity Divine\u201d went viral after throwing her cat over her head in an apparent fit of rage during a game of Apex Legends, after the animal seemed to get in her way. In fact, the outrage was so intense that the Saskatoon SPCA even investigated the matter, later revealing that their investigations found that he had \u201cno malicious intent\u201d and \u201cexpressed remorse\u201d concerning her actions.
