Internet issues knock out xQc\u2019s stream two days in a row Twitch streamer Felix \u2018xQc\u2019 Lengyel was forced to end yet another broadcast early due to an apparent DDoS attack. xQc ran into some trouble with DDoS attacks first during his New Year\u2019s Eve stream, after he inadvertently revealed his IP address to viewers during the broadcast. Just about 30 minutes after revealing his IP, Felix\u2019s stream abruptly came to an end due to what seemed to be a DDoS attack, which overwhelms a target with massive amounts of internet traffic. On January 14, two weeks after the first incident occurred, xQc was once again forced off his stream by more internet issues \u2013 but whether it was actually a \u201cDDoS\u201d attack or not remains unknown. \u201cOk chat, my entire internet is f*cked up,\u201d Felix announced, before confirming his phone wasn\u2019t working, either. \u201cYeah, I know CMD (command prompt) doesn\u2019t work either.\u201d \u201cChat I\u2019ll see you in 15-20 minutes, depending on how long it takes to do that,\u201d he assured viewers before his stream went down. However, that wouldn\u2019t be the end of xQc\u2019s internet issues for the week, as they came up again during a stream the very next day on January 15. After noticing slow download speeds, Felix apologized to chat for what he considered \u201cwasting their time,\u201d before again being cut off mid-sentence. \u201cChat I\u2019m not going to troll you guys, listen, I rarely say it dude, but I value chat\u2019s time a lot,\u201d xQc told viewers. \u201cAnd I feel like I\u2019m wasting you guys\u2019 time whenever we stall really badly, whenever this sh*t happens, dude. I don\u2019t want to waste everyone\u2019s time with this stupid sh*t, because I would hate if that happened to me.\u201d Of course, it\u2019s impossible to tell if it was actually a DDoS attack or just something else that happened to xQc\u2019s internet connection, but something suspicious definitely seems to be going on.
