Jake Paul blasts Canelo Alvarez and other boxers for \u201ccalling him out\u201d Jake Paul\/Canelo\/InstagramAfter a couple of Jake Paul fans crashed Canelo Alvarez\u2019s boxing win last week, the influencer took to Instagram to hit back at the Mexican boxing star. On February 27, Canelo knocked out Turkish boxer Avni Yildirim in the third round \u2014 a resounding win, but the fighter didn\u2019t even get to celebrate for too long before things were interrupted by a couple of Jake Paul fans. Somehow, two guys wearing t-shirts with Paul\u2019s face on them managed to get into the ring and stand right behind the professional boxer as he gave his post-fight interview. It\u2019s no secret Canelo and the YouTube star aren\u2019t fans of each other, so when he realized what was going on, he told the pair to \u201cget the f*** out.\u201d In an Instagram story on Tuesday, March 2, Paul said he \u201chad to rant\u201d on all of the people calling him out, including Canelo, over the past couple of days. \u201cCanelo, what\u2019s your problem, why do you hate me so much?\u201d Paul asked. \u201cCanelo\u2019s mad, he has this thing against me, says I\u2019m \u2018bad for the sport,\u2019 I\u2019m disrespecting it, which doesn\u2019t make sense at all. I\u2019m actually just bringing more eyeballs and more awareness to the sport of boxing.\u201d The social media star also added he wasn\u2019t afraid of feuding with the Mexican boxer, and claimed he isn\u2019t intimidated since, in his opinion, Canelo hasn\u2019t fought anyone of note. \u201cCanelo, since you wanted to start this beef, lets do it,\u201d Paul stated. \u201cYou\u2019re mad because there\u2019s someone new coming into the sport. You claim you\u2019re the pound-for-pound best fighter, but you\u2019re fighting these guys from Turkey that no one\u2019s ever heard of. You\u2019re an old hater, that\u2019s what you are.\u201d Two-Time heavyweight boxing champ Tyson Fury got in on the Jake Paul hate too, apparently challenging him to fight his half-brother Tommy Fury, also an up-and-coming boxer. \u201cI didn\u2019t know Tyson Fury had a bro.
