Law firm Loeb & Loeb have officially cut ties with Paul, after seeking permission to discontinue their representation of the YouTuber in an ongoing legal battle over the video in October of 2018. Paul\u2019s lawyers alleged that the internet star refused to pay them for their services, claiming that his antics had incited an \u201cirreconcilable breakdown\u201d in their working relationship. \u201c[Paul has] refused to cooperate with Loeb in the defense of this action,\u201d the firm stated via the Blast, adding that Paul \u201crefused to make payments to the firm for their legal services in connection with the case.\u201d Now, a Los Angeles judge has allowed Paul\u2019s lawyers to pull out of the case \u2013 leaving the YouTuber without any legal representation in the matter. The case was raised by Ellis Barbacoff, who filed a suit against both Paul and his production company, Team 10, for \u201cunspecified damages.\u201d Barbacoff claimed that Paul had blared a train horn at him, which caused \u201csustained shock and injuries,\u201d as well as alleged \u201cpain and suffering.\u201d This isn\u2019t the first time Paul has found himself in legal trouble due to a video, either; a lawsuit filed against Paul in June of 2018 was recently expanded to include Team 10 in December 2018, after Paul trashed a $10 million Colorado mansion during his 21st birthday celebration.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
