Discussion ranged around the prospects of Conor McGregor in a bout with Logan\u2019s younger brother Jake Paul. Following on from an offer from Bellator for the Paul brothers to start fighting properly in MMA bouts, and amid wild speculation surrounding a potential fight with McGregor, the Paul\u2019s have been linked to UFC stars for quite some time. Schaub, recalling a conversation with Jake Paul, talked to the one specific item stopping a Conor McGregor and Jake Paul superfight going down: Fighter pay. Saying that Jake Paul took Brendan aside to ask him: \u201cRealistically, do you think I could get that Conor fight?\u201d, Schaub replied \u201cI do. This is why you\u2019re gonna get it\u2026 It\u2019s gonna happen no matter what, whether [UFC President Dana White] plays ball or not, you and Conor are gonna fight at some point.\u201d \u201cAbsolutely,\u201d Schaub repeated to the idea, before going on to declare \u201cthe one caveat is [Jake will] have to back down on the fighter pay.\u201d This is in reference to Paul\u2019s repeated and ongoing beef with the UFC over disputes around fighter pay and healthcare. Responding to the caveat, JP was clear \u201cCan\u2019t do it,\u201d he allegedly told Schaub, before continuing \u201cI won\u2019t fight him, if he doesn\u2019t increase the fighter pay it\u2019s not happening.\u201d Prodding Jake on the validity of his push for a raise in fighter pay, Brendan questioned \u201coh you\u2019re serious about this?\u201d To which the MMA hopeful replied: \u201cI\u2019m f**king dead serious.\u201d After establishing the seriousness of Jake\u2019s desire to fight for higher pay in the UFC, Logan replied \u201cI didn\u2019t know that, I wasn\u2019t sure\u201d before giggling and saying \u201ccool.\u201d Breaking down the younger Paul brother\u2019s push for a higher fight pay for the UFC athletes, Schaub closed out with: \u201cJust to explain for the viewers, this fighter pay stuff.
