Jake, who had spent three years in Japan, was relocating back to Los Angeles to be with his family and friends and get some more foundation in the United States. As his final stream came to a close, the emotional streamer thanked his viewers for being a major part of his life these past few years. \u201cThanks for helping me get to where I am right now, whatever stage this may be,\u201d he said. \u201cHopefully we go back and this is the right move \u2013 to get our foundation and continue to grow. Not only as just a streamer, but in life.\u201d Jake\u2019s time in Asia has included some really cool moments such as experiencing Halloween in Tokyo with a man dressed as Dr Disrespect and hanging out with fellow streamers like HAchubby. \u201cThanks for being part of the journey,\u201d he added with sadness in his tone. \u201cJust remember this is not like a \u2018goodbye\u2019 to Japan, we\u2019ll be back,\u201d he sobbed. \u201cIt\u2019s just weird to leave behind a pretty big chunk of life, a big chapter of everything,\u201d he added. As Jake explained in a YouTube video in March, the long story short of why he decided to leave Japan was to be with his best friends and family. \u201cLong term for the stream stability-wise, it\u2019s going to be the right decision,\u201d he said. \u201cInstead of living in Tokyo because situationally a lot of things have changed in the past few years since I came here, I think it\u2019s better to be back home, have a home base and travel from there.\u201d As he explained, his original plan was to move to Japan for one year and go back, but things changed when he started streaming and it changed his life.
