Since starting up her streaming career in 2012, she\u2019s attracted hundreds of thousands of fans. However, one statement made on stream has seen her taken off the platform, with the streamer receiving an \u201cindefinite\u201d suspension over \u201chateful conduct.\u201d Kaceytron was banned on March 17 over comments she made a week earlier regarding the coronavirus pandemic. Appearing on the Rajj podcast on March 11, the streamer made a comment that fell flat with the other participants. \u201cYes [we would kiss] and we would leave quarantine and try to spread it as much as possible because the world would be a better place without old and poor people,\u201d Kaceytron said, answering a question on quarantines. When the other podcast participants reacted negatively to her bold statement, she doubled down, adding that she \u201csaid what [she] said.\u201d Twitch\u2019s reason for the ban was for \u201cengaging in hateful conduct and threats of violence against a person or group of people,\u201d which is usually attached with bans of up to 30 days. However, Twitch took decisive action, deplatforming the streamer indefinitely, with the only form of recourse being a ban appeal. \u201cAny hateful conduct is considered a zero-tolerance violation,\u201d the platform\u2019s guidelines state. \u201cWe will take action on all accounts associated with such conduct with a range of enforcement actions, including and up to indefinite suspension.\u201d After the ban hammer was laid down, Kaceytron issued an apology to her fans. \u201cI\u2019ve been indefinitely suspended because of an insensitive comment I made last week,\u201d the streamer said. \u201cI don\u2019t condone hatred towards any person and it was a poor reflection of my character. I\u2019m just trying to take this all in right now. \u201cIt was a comment I made on the Rajj show that was uploaded to LSF [\/r\/livestreamfail]. Obviously it was a joke but that doesn\u2019t excuse it. It was in poor taste and my fault.\u201d I’ve been indefinitely suspended because of an insensitive comment I made lastweek.
