CallMeCarson notably stepped back from YouTube in early March, admitting in a series of Tweets that he was taking an indefinite hiatus from content creation due to \u201cpersonal events\u201d and \u201cmental health.\u201d Nearly a month later, Carson seemed to confirm that these \u201cpersonal events\u201d included relationship problems with his girlfriend, Twitch streamer \u2018Katerino,\u2019 who had allegedly cheated on him with friend and fellow YouTuber \u2018Fitz.\u2019 For those concerned about me, I recently started antidepressants and have been on a whirlwind of emotion and pain in my personal life. In her short video on the topic, uploaded on April 14, Katerino explained that she and Carson had initially gotten involved with each other while she was dating her former boyfriend, claiming that she had \u201cled him on\u201d although clarifying that she and Carson were not romantic. \u201cI ignored very conflicting feelings and thoughts, and I was very lost and confused,\u201d the streamer said. \u201cI didn\u2019t know what I wanted or what was important to me. This was when I got involved with Fitz.\u201d She went on to explain that she\u2019d \u201chandled things similarly\u201d in regards to her relationship with Fitz, and apologized to viewers for her actions in wake of the viral drama that has shaken up Carson\u2019s fanbase. \u201cI hurt both him and Carson, and their friendship, as well,\u201d she continued. \u201cCarson and I streamed together, and the community saw us as a couple, which we encouraged.
