Since the start of 2023, Kick has exploded in popularity within the streaming world, quickly becoming one of the top competitors in the space. While the live-streaming platform has come under its fair of criticism and controversies, Kick has still signed some of the world\u2019s biggest streamers. Among those include the likes of xQc, who signed a $70 million deal with the platform in June. More recently, the Stake-backed streaming site has signed Twitch star NICKMERCS as well as rapper Tyga to their platform as they continue to grow. Now, they\u2019re even offering to partner Twitch\u2019s CEO, as well. Twitch CEO offered partner on Kick On October 21, Twitch\u2019s CEO Dan Clancy shared on his Twitter\/X account that his application to join his own platform\u2019s partnership program had been denied. \u201cFor anyone that got denied being a partner from Twitch, don\u2019t feel so bad. Just got my Partner application denied. Did not tell anyone I was applying,\u201d he wrote. Now, poking a bit of fun, rival platform Kick has offered to partner with the Twitch CEO. \u201cYea thats rough man,\u201d they quote retweeted, adding: \u201cu want partner on Kick?\u201d Clancy has yet to publicly acknowledge Kick\u2019s offer. However, as revealed by the Twitch CEO at TwitchCon Vegas, creators are no longer held down to just streaming on the Amazon-owned platform. Now, Twitch\u2019s guidelines have now been officially updated to allow streamers to broadcast across multiple platforms, which was previously prohibited.
